Try instead a mine (secondary fire) from the linegun on the wall necro and the linegun's primary fire on the pods. The time you take to change weapons will let enemies get in their licks. The pods it generates will dock your life quickly, and while the plasma cutter is good for the pods, the wall necro itself is vulnerable to stasis and the ripper. This monster is dangerous, since it has the ability to kill Isaac in one hit (regardless of life remaining). There is a dangerous wall mounted necromorph in the bottom level of the room leading to Zero G Therapy. Another option is a direct hit from the Contact Beam. I had great success just shooting the Guardian directly with the Firewall, letting the Stasis and fire combo take effect. You always want to Stasis the Guardian immediately to buy yourself some time.

To kill the Guardian quickly you need to hit it dead-on with an explosive to destroy all of its exposed tentacles. The longer the encounter with the Guardian goes on the more tentacles you have to deal with. This is a stationary enemy that fires off tentacles that stick to surfaces and start shooting projectiles at Isaac. Beware! We need to cross over to the other side of the room, but when we get there we will encounter a new enemy type: the Guardian. You will get ambushed by some Lurkers as you walk through the hallway, so be ready with your Plasma Cutter. Loot the Security Clearance 2 locker in the office by the Save Station, then head into Imaging Diagnostics. He promises to 'deal with you' as he unlocks the door to Imaging Diagnostics.
